30 a Day ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of every student, parent, and guardian who interacts with our service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights regarding your information.

We use the information described above solely to operate the coaching service. Specifically:

We do not sell, rent, or share any student or parent information with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We share information only with the following service providers, strictly to the extent necessary to operate the service:

We will additionally disclose information when required by California law (including under California's mandated-reporter statutes for educators) or when reasonably necessary to protect the safety of a student or other person.

Data Retention

We retain SMS message content, daily progress records, and consent forms for the duration of enrollment plus three (3) years thereafter, for educational continuity and legal recordkeeping. Upon written request from a parent or guardian, we will delete all stored information about that family within seven (7) days, except where retention is required by law.

Children's Privacy

This service is designed for use by students in grades 4 through 12. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any child without explicit parental consent. If you are the parent or guardian of a child under 13 and believe we have collected information about them without your consent, please contact us immediately and we will delete the information.

Security

Conversation records, progress data, and consent forms are stored on a secure local computer with encrypted disk storage and access restricted to the founder. We do not transmit sensitive data over public channels except through TLS-encrypted services (Twilio, Anthropic, Math Academy, Netlify).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes that affect how we use information about students will be communicated to parents directly.
